Description
Bridgestone Duravis Camper All Season – Safety, durability, reliability – for stress-free journeys all year round
The Duravis Camper All Season is Bridgestone’s first tyre specifically designed for motorhomes. The tyre combines all-season performance, high load-carrying capacity and excellent mileage. It is also EV-ready, making it suitable for all drive types, and offers motorhome drivers enhanced safety, durability and reliability all year round.
The tyre impresses with a high level of safety and control in all seasons. It offers strong braking performance on dry roads and, thanks to its 3PMSF and M+S markings, is also fully suitable for winter use. Its outstanding performance in wet conditions is based on a rubber compound with a high silica content, as well as wide shoulder grooves for efficient water drainage. Optimised tread stiffness improves braking performance on dry surfaces, whilst the directional V-tread pattern ensures good traction on snow.
The tyre is designed for heavy loads and features a reinforced carcass construction that increases its service life. An optimised tread design has also been developed to extend service life. The CP marking (Camping Pneu) on the sidewall indicates that the tyre is specifically tailored to the special requirements of motorhomes.
Furthermore, the Duravis Camper All Season offers high mileage, which contributes to lower long-term costs for motorhome owners. Balanced pressure distribution across the contact patch ensures even wear, whilst the extra-reinforced sidewall protects against kerb damage, for example.
The tyre’s performance is based on Bridgestone’s Enliten technology. This enables tailored performance without compromise, improves sustainability and, at the same time, ensures suitability for electric vehicles.
Manufacturer information
EU Tyre Label
The Tyre Labelling Regulation determines the information that must be provided with regard to tyres' fuel efficiency, wet grip and external rolling noise. Information is also provided on the product's performance in wintery driving conditions.
Regulation EU 1222/2009, which has been in force since 01/11/2012, has been revised and will be replaced from 1 May 2021 by Regulation EU 2020/740, from which point new standards will apply. The assessment categories for fuel efficiency, wet grip and external noise have been changed and the layout of the EU label has been changed accordingly. The manufacturers' product data sheets, stored in the EU database, can be downloaded via a QR code integrated into the label. It also includes information on snow grip and ice grip for tyres that meet these criteria.
The following tyres are exempt from the regulation:
- Tyres designed to be fitted only to vehicles registered for the first time before 1 October 1990
- Remoulded tyres (until Regulation EU 2020/740 has been widened accordingly)
- Professional off-road tyres
- Racing tyres
- Tyres with additional devices to improve traction, e.g. studded tyres
- Temporary-use spare tyres (T-type tyres)
- Tyres with a speed rating below 80 km/h
- Tyres with a nominal rim diameter of 254 mm or less and 635 mm or more
