The Dotz brand is one of four steel and alloy wheel brands belonging to the ALCAR Group. The internationally active industrial and trading group is the market leader in the European passenger car aftermarket and concentrates on international and national trade, the production of steel and alloy wheels, as well as the distribution of tyre pressure monitoring systems, tyres and complete wheels. In addition to Dotz, the brands AEZ, Dezent and ALCAR Stahlrad are part of the strong group of companies.

The Dotz brand, headquartered in Hirtenberg, Austria, was founded in 1985 before being integrated into the ALCAR Group as an existing brand in 1999. Since then, the company history of the young rim manufacturer has been characterised by regular growth. Today, Dotz is one of the established and leading rim brands in the European aftermarket. Positioned as a tuning brand, the alloy wheels are in demand above all among lovers of noble rims, tuning experts and fans of individualisation. In addition to its design strength, the brand is also characterised by innovation and excellent product quality and safety.

Quality policy in perfection

As with all rim brands of the ALCAR Group, numerous test procedures in production and the permanent further development of the design wheels characterise the quality policy of Dotz rims. Guided by the claim to sell its customers "a statement" for their cars with Dotz wheels, the young, motivated team works passionately and with a high level of expertise on the development and production of alloy wheels every day. Throughout the process, the wheels are meticulously scrutinised and attention is paid to the smallest details. In development, for example, the rims are designed with the help of CAD (computer-aided design) and additional loads are simulated using FEA (finite element analysis). The attention to detail is also evident during production. After the rims have been produced by gravity die casting, the wheel cast and the mould removed, the aluminium rims are additionally reworked and finished by hand. The passion in every single step of the process, characterised by commitment, professionalism and enthusiasm, is part of the trademark that has made Dotz so popular for over 20 years. The most popular models in the range include the Dotz CP5, Dotz Dakar, Dotz Misano, Dotz Kendo and Dotz Revvo. The Dotz CP5 delights with its classic five spokes that exude sportiness above all else thanks to their asymmetrical design. The Dotz Kendo also brings a lot of dynamism. The extremely angular five double spokes give the rim an individual character. Another rim popular with sporty fans is Dotz's Revvo rim. Its concave ten double-spoke design gives it a very delicate and sporty appearance. Dotz has just the thing for tuning fans with its Misano model. Maximum thin spoke pairs give the rim an aggressive, angular look that makes it unique. The Dotz Dakar model is very popular with off-road vehicle owners.
