Uniroyal tyres
The rain tyre specialist
Uniroyal is the rain tyre specialist, with more than 50 years of experience in the development of tyres that eradicate the worry of aquaplaning. In 1969, Uniroyal developed the very first "rain tyres", and became the first company to recognise the benefits of the directional V-shaped tread pattern. In its quest for innovations such as this, the research & development team regularly looks outside the box, drawing inspiration from nature, for example.
Innovative and modern technologies, such as Shark Skin Technology, ensure that car drivers safely reach their destination – especially in wet weather conditions. Alongside performance, Uniroyal tyres also score points for design, having already won several reputable design prizes on account of their meticulous attention to detail.
