Since then, the brand has developed at a rapid pace thanks to trendy and innovative products and today, over 25 years later, is already one of the most successful and renowned manufacturer brands for alloy wheels in Germany and internationally.Alutec, which has been part of the US-based Superior Industries group since 2018, produces its rims in Fußgönheim (Germany) and Stawola Wola (Poland).

Expert in drifting

In 2006, a new era began for the brand. After the first drift events such as the "Drift Challenge Hockenheim" or the "Drift Challenge Augsburg" were held on Alutec rims, drifting became more and more the core of the brand in 2009 at the latest. From then on, the brand developed high-tech wheels that were used not only on the road but also in drifting events. In the course of these sporting events, which demand an absolute maximum of load from the vehicles, vehicles fitted with Alutec rims have already achieved several world records. Alutec gained further attention in the drifting scene by equipping a drifting school at the Hockenheimring with its rims and various sponsorships such as with the International Drift Series or the German Race Wars.
