Shinko motorcycle tyres
Shinko is the name of a tyre brand and a Japanese company. In Japanese, the word "shinkō" more or less means "progress". The Shinko company was founded in 1946, and began life as a manufacturer of bicycle tyres and tubes in Osaka (Japan). Later, the companies Shinko from japan, and Shin Hung from South Korea merged. With the production taking place in South Korea, and the design in Japan, the company has seamlessly combined Japanese construction and design principles with South Korean production and quality control standards.
In 1994, Shinko took over the production of Yokohama motorcycle tyres, and since then has continued to produce the proven Yokohama treads. Since then, the tyres have been sold under the name Shinko. Today, Shinko produces around 200,000 motorcycle tyres per month. Ongoing tests in the USA, and research and development conducted within the Shinko factory, ensure continuous development, in keeping with the requirements of modern motorcyclists. Shinko motorcycle tyres are high-quality products for the most demanding of applications.
