MOMO rims: Italian motorsport tradition and striking Design

MOMO is one of Italy’s internationally renowned Brands for vehicle accessories and alloy rims. The company combines its long history in motorsport with a distinctive design language and technically sophisticated products for road use. MOMO rims are aimed at drivers who prefer a sporty, high-quality or classically inspired look for their vehicle.

The Brand is characterised by clearly defined spokes, high-contrast finishes and wheel designs tailored to different vehicle classes. The Offer includes wheels for compact passenger cars, Limousines, sports cars, SUVs and selected vehicles with high wheel loads.

History and Italian heritage

MOMO was founded in 1964 by the Italian racing driver Gianpiero Moretti. It all began with a bespoke steering wheel for his own racing car. The brand name is a combination of Moretti and Monza.

After other racing drivers also showed an interest in the design, the original idea developed into a company specialising in motorsport and automotive accessories. In the 1970s, MOMO expanded its range to include alloy wheels and steering wheels for road vehicles. The brand is based in Milan, Italy, and has close ties to international motorsport.

Depending on the model, finishes such as matt black, gloss black, silver, graphite or high-gloss machined finishes are available. Some wheels are suitable for Run-flat tyres and tyre pressure monitoring systems. Before purchasing, the rim size, bolt circle, offset, centre bore, wheel load and approval documents should be checked against the vehicle specifications.
