Tips for complete wheels

Our complete wheel prices include the rim, tyre and valve, the mounting of the tyre on the rim, the balancing, and any fastening material that is needed. Each complete wheel is custom-assembled for you, and our complete wheels are assembled without a tyre pressure control sensor as standard. reifencom GmbH can only carry out inspections on vehicles in their original factory condition. The admissibility of modified vehicles must be assessed separately by a recognized technical inspection body. The costs of the inspection body must be borne by the customer in such cases.

Complete winter wheels: Complete wheels with Winter tyres

Safety and performance for the cold season

Complete wheels with Winter tyres are the best choice for motorists who want to prepare their vehicle optimally for the cold season. They consist of a combination of rims and Winter tyres that are already fitted and balanced. This complete solution makes seasonal tyre changes easier and ensures maximum safety on winter roads. Compared to all-season tyres, Winter tyres offer significant advantages, particularly in snow, ice and low temperatures.

What are complete wheels?

A complete wheel consists of a ready-fitted combination of Tyres and Rims. This solution offers several advantages:

Easy fitting: As the Tyre is already fitted to the Rim, the entire wheel can be changed quickly.
No additional fitting effort: There is no need to visit a garage to have the tyres fitted, which saves time and money.
Longer tyre life: There is no need to constantly mount and demount tyres from rims, which helps to preserve the tyres.

Why choose Winter tyres over All-season tyres?

All-season tyres, also known as all-weather tyres, are a compromise solution for moderate weather conditions. However, in regions with cold winters, specialist Winter tyres offer significant advantages in terms of safety and driving performance.

1. Better traction and grip on snow and ice

Winter tyres are made from a softer rubber compound that remains flexible even at low temperatures. This gives them better grip on snow-covered and icy roads. All-season tyres, on the other hand, harden more quickly in sub-zero temperatures and lose grip.

2. Shorter braking distances in winter

Studies show that winter tyres have significantly shorter braking distances on snow or ice than All-season tyres. This can save lives in an emergency and prevent serious accidents.

3. Special tread pattern for winter conditions

The tread of winter tyres features deep sipes and wide grooves. These ensure better grip on snow and improve water dispersion in slush and rain, thereby reducing the risk of aquaplaning.

4. Greater safety and stability at low temperatures

Winter tyres are specially designed for temperatures below 7°C. Whilst All-season tyres lose power under these conditions, Winter tyres retain their optimum grip and stability.

5. Less wear in winter

Winter tyres are designed for extreme conditions and wear more slowly than All-season tyres in wintry conditions. Anyone who regularly drives in cold regions benefits from a longer tyre lifespan.

Winter complete wheels – Conclusion

Complete wheels fitted with Winter tyres are the ideal solution for motorists who prioritise maximum safety and the best driving performance in winter. They offer significantly better traction, shorter braking distances and greater stability at low temperatures than All-season tyres. Choosing complete wheels simplifies the seasonal tyre change, as the tyres and rims are already perfectly matched. Anyone who wants to travel safely and comfortably in winter should opt for Winter tyres.
