Its off-road specifics and the self-cleaning properties is achieved by the wide tread grooves and the high negative portion of the profile. Through the silica compound which developed especially for winter the safety margins increases significantly compared with standard tyres. At low temperatures, the silica versions have clear grip advantages in both wet and dry conditions, and far better braking properties.
