The KR20A KAISER is produced in two different compounds: The semi-slick version is NHS marked and designed for use on race tracks. The NHS stands for: Not for Highway Service. It means that the tyres may not be driven on public roads. The NHS version has a treadwear rating of 200, which is the wear rate of a tyre's tread combined with higher grip. It is worth knowing that the higher the treadwear rating, the longer the life of the tyre. For example, a tyre with a treadwear index of 150 has 1.5 times less wear than a tyre with a treadwear index of 100. A tyre with a treadwear index of 200 has a higher grip than a tyre with a treadwear index of 300.
