Riken tyres
Riken was founded in 1917 in Japan, as a chemical plant, and since 1979 has been exporting tyres to Europe and the USA. It was only in 1992 that Michelin acquired Riken, thus enabling the worldwide distribution of this brand. First and foremost, Riken Tyres produces affordable tyres for cars and lightweight trucks. Although Riken is now part of Michelin, this was not always the case.
Over the years, and with the rise of the car as a means of transport, the company has specialised in tyre manufacture. Today, Michelin serves as a guarantee of the quality and innovation behind Riken. As a result of this, you can be sure that products from Riken are always manufactured applying the latest research findings.

The Riken brand
Riken is a tyre brand with Japanese roots, which today belongs to the French Michelin Group, one of the world's leading tyre manufacturers. Originally founded in Japan in 1917, Riken quickly established itself as a manufacturer of rubber products. Since its acquisition by Michelin, the brand has specialised in the production of affordable and reliable tyres that meet the high quality standards of its parent company. Riken tyres are manufactured in modern production facilities and are a popular choice among price-conscious drivers, especially in Europe.
The Riken range includes tyres for passenger cars, SUVs and light commercial vehicles and offers solutions for summer, winter and all-season use. The Riken Road Performance is a summer tyre that impresses with its good wet grip and smooth ride, making it ideal for everyday use. For winter use, Riken offers the Snowtime B2, a tyre that has been specially developed for snowy and icy roads and scores with high traction and stability. The Riken Allstar 2 is an all-season tyre that offers balanced performance in changing weather conditions and is particularly popular in temperate climates.
Riken tyres combine the technical expertise of the Michelin Group with an attractive price-performance ratio. They are ideal for drivers who prioritise safety and reliability without having to invest a large budget. Thanks to Michelin's support, Riken remains a trusted and high-performance brand in the mid-price segment.
